what's ur favourite thing abt keiji?
superficial answer is his tattoos :D i had a lot of fun drawing them and having some significance for some of them it was really fun to include symbolism for his character like directly on him :3
longer answer is i made at him during Literally the worst year in my life where i didn't realize how badly my mental illnesses were affecting more or even like what they were exactly ? and i was still using at the very beginning and getting to add elements of things i was struggling with and have people still really enjoy his character and the content i was making with him was a really really big influence on me getting better. he's been throigh so much with me and it probably sounds cheesy but i am just really appreciative of him and everyone who has listened to me talk about him :D also it's really important to me that he's like ?? a main character and in his storyline for the (way in the future) video game is like about learning it's okay to be weird and fucked up and human in all these tangible ways and be still deserving of care and life and the chance to be okay :)
how do you think aito responds to seeing naito nori since becoming a literal ai
gay gay homosexual gay /hj i think he quite literally overheats at first because he doesn't know how to compute intense feelings and eito himself didn't know how to deal with like the genuine care and affection he has for naito — very much repressed into a neat little package of "i love this man and i will protect him" but he's not good at all with actually Feeling emotions that are more complex than one sentence (aka all of them) so anything that's like reminiscent of Everything eito feels for naito trying to be coded by aito make the systems go haywire
and then it's like really bad robotic awkward flirting and having to kiss someone who is really stiff so essentially back to normal eito
what is something poetic or something you consider aesthetic about ummmmm eito, keiji, and vera ??
keiji : both poetic and aesthetic keiji's ability became very star-coded in a really literal way ; there's this literal like dying star in him now, and her space between portals is black hole-adjacent or reminiscent of the infinite space that exists between stars
eito : favorite metaphor for eito is the use of eyes to symbolize intelligence or information even if it's basic ; he's got more than every other character and he has more information on the general behind the scenes happenings from everyone else, also ; there's the added fact he HATES it. something something poetic about the thing that ties him to people and their lives and their humanity is something that is distinctly Odd and weird for most humans. + i imagine the chimerx main building very much like nerv nge in an aesthetic way and while not him directly, i think he very much contributed to it and fits in there (which is an aesthetic i rlly like, evangelion ui sweep)
vera ; she's soo old money aesthetic /hj she's all pearls and designer perfume and silk and lace but she's also like viscerally feminine. literally like in the way bloodbourne is. i think there's such an expectation of women to be quiet and nice and make themselves small and that's generally seen as like how women should behave or even like what makes a woman a woman in some like backwards traditional mindsets and i think she is aware of those and doesn't give a shit at all. i think she is so like . bloody and raw and independent and unapologetic in her femininity and i think those are inherently poetic things
who are favourite pokémon characters from any pokémon media
does a gear have special powers and do they vary? how do their powers or fighting abilities work?
OKAY SO gears are technically like their own species? gear cells are like a complex mess to explain but having them is what makes a gear a gear!
gears are all designed specifically for war, so they're generally Large and Scary & most are similar to mythological creatures (the hydra, dragons, etc), they have quick regeneration and are generally really fortified and hard to defeat in battle
on top of that ! there's human-type gears which are also sometimes command gears which are capable of imputing commands into other gears, generally the animal-type ones :) gear cells are inherently magic by nature (there's a longer lore reason) so they vary! humans have an aptitude for one kind of magic (ie. fire) but gears can use multiple different kinds :] there's also an implication that human-type gears have a more "monstrous" form because of how sol's whole thing works
i have never actually consumed guilty gear content, whats it about?
OH MY GOD thank you for asking
the set up is basically that humans found this unlimited energy source called "magic" and they replaced all their tech & stuff with it + combined it with humans to make what are called "gears" but this started a big war called the crusades lead by a gear. it's really just a fighting game series but there is like a lot of interdimensional space/time bullshit that goes on & gets super complex but it's really fun !
IDK MANY OF UR OCS I WISH I DID BUT CHOOSE ONE OR ALL OR IDK AND ANSWER .
what is something (or someone) that they would describe as beautiful or otherworldly or . in general, something (or someone) they would care for ?
LONG ASF ANSWER INCOMING (for keiji taira & eito futami)
keiji is an artist, technically, along with everything else so he's got a long list of beautiful things though most of them are edgy — unmarred skin before a tattoo and the way flames move and the chrome on motorcycles and even the physical aftermath of violence (bruises & bloody noses & the like) because those are really Human things, or parts of the experience that make him know he's alive at least. there's a liminal space between his portals that's literally otherworldly and he'd consider that beautiful if it wasn't his own power, probably.
eito is more complex ? he's not moved by emotions or human nature or like .. anything really. he likes nice suits and fancy cars and champagne and abstract art but i don't think he'd call them beautiful, they're just things to own. i think he considers himself to be otherworldly, because of the whole Adjacent To A God Figure thing but i would say he also thinks of naito nori as beautiful and otherworldly in the sense of like he's very powerful (something eito admires and requires for people around him) but he sees naito as very human in a way that he has separated himself from
