we would expect that your chaptered fic is complete or nearly complete (~80% done) by the deadline as we would like finished fics to be posted. writers are welcome to space out the postings of their chapters, though, with the first chapter published during posting period and a new chapter added every week or on some regular schedule.

to reiterate, the entire chaptered fic does not have to be posted at once, but we would like the chapters to be finished/mostly finished by the deadline.
