do you get uncomfortable with anons or anyone in general asking for medical prognosis? loll I’m in vet school (almost done cheers!) and while I love helping others I always am fearful that someone may come back to me and go omg you don’t know what you’re are talking about granted I’m still a student technically so…but even when I become a vet i feel I’ll be reluctant unless it’s actually my patient I'm giving a diagnosis to
Yes and that's why I always go as vague and non-medical-advicey as possible with my answers lol. Like for me it's abt the fact that I don't think it's very ethical to give medical advice online and tft I really dont know how to answer some of those questions bc they're very dependent on actually being able to see and examine ur patient so like.. giving diagnoses and prognoses based on just a symptom is so hard and wrong 😭 but I also understand that most ppl that ask me stuff like that are just worried so I get it, I don't answer the ones with weird undertones to them anyway. Also congrats on almost finishing! I have vet friends that did vet school while I was doing med school so I know how hard it is haha, stay strong 🫂
