skakskskjs thank u for letting me know. and same here i was actually projecting when i wrote it so it’s uhm pretty much out of personal experience. also hopefully good news for u (?) is that im at 5k words with the fic. my progress is super slow bc im working on other stuff too but i’m getting there i hope i can publish it soon!

well i could probably think of different hybrid assignments for everyone except for chan because he’s so wolf. but he could also be a golden retriever hybrid ?
minho could be a black cat or if we’re going with something a bit unusual maybe a snake or a raven? mostly the animals with quick wit or a bit of mysterious aura, queerness etc but also sea bunnies when he’s cute
for changbin im very fond of cow hybrid erm i hope u see the vision he’s super friendly and extroverted and fun to be around. cows are very friendly by nature and they like to listen to music so that’s that.
hyunjin is. he reminds me of capybaras ik that’s really unusual but so are hybrids
jisung is an axlotl or a deer! just something cute and petite and rare . ehm prey.
felix is very kitten to me he’s so cat he’d probably be a super affectionate type of house cats idk what breed
seungmin is kinda raccoon! they’re a bit viscous tho…. but they’re very cool
innie could be an owl! also taking his personality into consideration.

hear me out… demi human jeongin (fox) and jisung (squirrel). jeongin is naturally curious and clumsy, so jisung is that type of friend to watch over and take care of jeongin. jisung is laid back, nonchalant and nerdy. where jeongin is the complete opposite. yk that type of dynamic? grumpy x sunshine but more like jisung is that parental friend. i feel like writing a story on this but don’t know where to start please help :( i have a bunch of scenarios in mind but don’t really know how to form that into a fic
oh such a lovely prompt!! you might want to start outlining (google how to outline if u dk how) but it could also be you info dumping everything u have in mind about this fic in bullet points. it’ll help you have everything down in one place and you’ll find yourself adding more to it.
then try to start with a scene and everything will fall into place after you’ve decided on what you want them to do and what you want to include etc..

What is your favourite book series?
oh this might be surprising but i don’t read book series often! mainly because the ones i want to read are often unfinished and i don’t like to wait to know what happens TT also i’m usually afraid to drop off somewhere in the series so i read standalone novels more!
but from the small amount of what i’ve read i do like the foa series and the divine rivals series (not sure of the series name so i said the first book name ksksksk) although i do need to read the last released books in both series lol

i absolutely loved reading your minsung drabble IT WAS SOO CUTEE. i love your writing style so fucking much, it’s so satisfying to read, reading that literally motivated me to start writing again💆♀️ also do you know how to use word play? idk how to explain it but if you don’t i’d love to see some in your work. anyways i have an idea and i cant get it out of my mind. yk how people write academic rivalries scenarios? what if it was the opposite. like i can imagine minho and jisung as teachers constantly bickering about who’s class is more well behaved, etc. just an idea🫣anways HOPE YOURE DOING WELL

also about my writing style, well this drabble was pretty brief and rushed to be able to fully portray it (i absolutely have no idea how it blew up) but i hope my fic does it justice.
i know about wordplay although i’ve never tried to include it in any of my works mainly because it’s purpose is usually to be funny, so if i decide that i wanna take a witty approach or characterization in my fic i will be using it!
also i love the rivaling class teacher idea!! it’s a new twist to the academic rivals tag, are you gonna write it?
