What is your favorite movie? Can you yap about it a bit? If you don't have a favorite movie, could you yap about the last good one you saw? :)
Omg i love moviessss i can definitely yap abt them hmmm I have so many favourites but my most recent fav is ‘the sixth sense’ it’s basically about this teacher who helps his student overcome his fear of being able to see ghosts and he encourages him to help them with their impediments instead. Idk if ur familiar with the meaning of an impediment but it’s basically the unfinished business tying the soul to earth so they can’t rest/cease as ghosts unless they do this thing. It’s not scary at all it’s like a bittersweet movie abt humanity and there’s a mind blowing plot twist that’ll make you sobbbb because it’s just so unexpected and lovely (I wouldn’t call it a sad movie or ending its just bittersweet). id really recommend it to everyone.
I’ve also been enjoying watching Adam Elliot’s movies, they’re stop-motion films and they’re (definitely) not for children bc they usually deal with some sort of adult issue and a character trying to overcome a struggle/learn how to live with their mental illness etc. I’ve recently watched Memoir of a Snail by him and it was so enjoyable to watch “The worst cages are ones we create for ourselves.” Is one of the quotes in it, and it’s so beautiful in the context of the scene and the movie. the mc basically struggles to come out of her bubble throughout the movie and embrace a new beginning and she locks herself up wnd copes by hoarding bc she goes through sm shit. The inner monologue and dialogues are absolutely hilarious so it was very multi dimensional. Thank you for this question i loveeee yapping abt movies whats your favourite movie?? or a recently watched one that you liked? Id love to know <33
