yeah other people have mentioned the "fashion" thing in that very thread. tho i do wonder if that's from the birthday stream a couple of years ago? didn't he just say it "looked good and is the most expensive thing he's bought?" not that it was for fashion reasons? personally, i feel like it being the most expensive/most liked accessory he owns is indicative of the care in which he picked it out and the value it holds apart from the price, and i also think he maybe just got more private as he's gotten older regarding faith, the same way he closely guards his family and childhood. but I acknowledge that it's also very possible or even probably that it's just that i get very catholic vibes from him (in a different way/flavor than i get catholic vibes from, say, felix who's more conspicuous with his faith) and am working off of that even tho there's nothing more concrete to back it up.
