hi!! im so in love with how you write prose for your characters in your toyhouse— whats your general process when you create ocs? what do you prioritise and what steps do you take when making them?

thank you so much!! my oc creating process involves collecting various sources of inspiration and media that i feel could be grouped as the same "person"... like "oh, i think the oncept of corpse wax pairs well with this image of an old victorian mansion, the idea of loneliness, and this song has similar vibes too"... i collect the articles and images in my personal discord server to archive, and begin to build a sort of media archive for them in my head. they often marinate for a long time (months or years!), just like little seeds of ideas that germinate when they're ready. i often refer to this as "still microwaving" the concept haha.

(actually, my toyhouse is super outdated; it's full of old writing and art from like... the 2016-2017 era?? i should really give it an update soon... )
