why is writing third person present controversial? i though rpf had to be written in present when i first got into cuz it’s how everyone was writing 😅
I do think it’s more popular in rpf but in general fandom spaces (and also trad pub) past tense is way way more preferred. There are a lot of people who hate present tense 😭
