was kinda looking at ao3 stats for nct and i noticed that while top!jn and bttm!jm as a whole is more popular for the nomin ship tag, for fics tagged as canon compliant, top jaemin and bottom jeno has more fics when you filter to only include canon compliant stories 😭😭 idk it's just a bit interesting how despite how widespread jenjaem is among nomin shippers (sea aka indonesian and thai fans), jaemjen somehow crawled to the top for Specifically canon fics 🤓
!!! omg is this true… i haven’t checked ao3 stats in a long while for them bc it lowkey depresses me every time to confirm what i already know (nomin hegemony) but waiiit jaemjen pulling ahead on the canon comp charts gagged me a bit. well [oprah spreading hands gif] tea… truth prevails when you know the canon you know the canon 🙂↕️
