i would be so thankful if you did, but there's no pressure! as the person who wrote it, and consumes horror media on the regular, i didn't think it was scary. but comments let me know that it was unnerving, or it kept them up.

to answer your questions a little more thoroughly: detail of the woods is a very character/emotion driven type of fic. the first ~20k is actually a character study on jeongguk and how writing, and the things that come along with it, defines him as a person. the last ~30k is a sort of... quick burn (i would say slightly obsessive in hindsight) between him and taehyung. there's really only three scary parts, but they don't define the entire story. i guess i would say it's more "unnerving" than "real horror," but that could just be me speaking from my very biased point of view.

if you do give it a try, i hope you enjoy it! i think that fic is the most "me" fic that i have ever written or will ever write, so i always have to recommend it to people who want to get a taste of what i'm all about 💚

wow, this is so sweet 💐 i feel like there's a very distinct line break between "porn and/or mini fic" and "how did we get so poetic and angsty and 50k words long???" which is, now that i think about it, faintly amusing (i also did not expect this when i first started out!!). i'm really pleased with my direction so this makes me super happy to read ♡♡♡

i'm absolutely foaming at the mouth to keep writing/talk about/ANYTHING with etol fic, and i'm dying at the secrecy that must be maintained 😖 maybe i can just say it's like DOTW re: prose— but written much better since i stopped using -ing verbs and i'm playing around with sentence structure 😃? might post a wip late october...!

hey! i'll put them down below but disclaimer: i put as much stock into astrology as i do MTBI or love languages-- which is to say that i don't think they're the end-all-be-all for ascertaining or understanding someone's personality, but they're rather a way for people to categorize things as we are wont to do~ i do think they can be fun, though! (although... if someone said they wouldn't wanna be with me because i'm a libra or have something specific in my chart, that's a pretty instant side eye from me because it feels like an excuse to not be clear and say why we don't have chemistry... but i digress!)

other than me 😭 that's hitting me right in the feelings (e2l fic is so hozier-y so i hope you feel the influence). re: unknown writer— this is simply a person i'm interested in, though i'm also well aware that this anon could have been super hyperbolic. i do think it would be really fun to find them because i'm always interested in seeing good prose in fanfic! i've found that certain writing styles—poetic, prose focused—are a little rarer than i'd like. or i simply haven't found them because i haven't had the time to look.

re: batman! so far i've found their prose gorgeous. i definitely want emulate this and/or take inspiration for certain phrases/description because this is the type of style i've been focusing on refining for myself over the past few years. summer blue has caught my attention, so i'm gonna download that later today!
