Oh wow, it's hard to pick just one thing. The whole experience has been wonderful, but two surprises stand out:

• I have not encountered any adversity. I expected some negative reaction, especially since my presentation is quite mixed, but everyone I've met has been so wonderful.

• My voice! I know hormones can't raise your voice, but mine has changed so much over the last six months it's like listening to a different person. You can hear the comparison on my blog; choose "Voice Changes" from the drop-down menu.
