what are some physical features (crows feet, smile lines, ect) that could be applied to an oc to make them look older / milfier if that makes sense? i'm trying to figure it out for my character but i'm not too sure what else could be applied.

How does Sveinn manage extreme temperatures? Would he be the kind to take ice baths when it gets too warm for him? Turn into an ice block in a tundra?

if someone wants to play elden ring but isn't good at games like it (bloodborne, darksouls, ect) should they wait to play it for free with a friends account to see if they like it or buy it now anyway
i think trying it on a friend's game is good, elden ring was my first of these games and i'm REALLY bad at video games and it's not very hard so don't worry. my suggestion is test it yes. but when you play, meet the game on its level rather than having preconceived expectations. it's really fun :)

that's really interesting!!! onto that question — is it okay to make outer god or god ocs in elden ring?? it's okay to be overindulgent?? growing up in the days where everyone called stuff mary sues makes me doubt sometimes, and i look up to you as a writer .. it's hard to explain a little just wondering if it's okay to indulge with what used to be shamed in the early 2010s
YOU'RE SO SWEET THANK YOU. i think you should write whatever the hell you want. as a treat. what one should worry about honing in on is PRESENTATION. a lot of characters could be considered """"mary sues"""" by those arbitrary standards. i think as long as you're having fun who cares? rather than worrying about "is this idea cringe" worry about "how can i communicate this idea better, as a writer or artist". hone your skills and abandon the notion of cringe. batman, ranni elden ring, the warrior of light themselves just as canon presents them, every fucking shounen mc to some degree, etc....tons of characters are "mary sues". but how good their story is has to do with the skills the author has, not the substance necessarily. go forth!!!!!!! abandon shame and feed your brain so you can write better!!!

can you talk about sveinn and zenos elden ring au? i'm just getting into it and i wanna know more about sveinn since the design of his you posted in your server is so cool
thank youuu it's a little indulgent and crazy so hear me out hahahaha.
etheirys is a different realm, similar to the lands between. in elden ring it's implied there are other lands after all. venat is a goddess much as marika is, then, just of this land. sveinn is a demigod empyrean, akin to miquella or malenia. he was a contact of miquella's, penpals if you will. they lost touch during the shattering.
zenos is a tarnished who never went to the lands between and died. he only came to them when marika called them back (so for elden ring) but he only cares to fight, not progress msq.
sveinn came to the lands between to learn of what happened to the demigods, because the news of the shattering didn't reach realms outside the lands between. he however, wants to avoid interfering too much, he's worried about upsetting a balance.
zenos lacks a maiden (scared her off), he meets sveinn on a coastline in limgrave. he learns sveinn is a demigod, but a fully lucid one, who is reknown for combat. sveinn tells zenos he will play the role of his maiden and help him turn runes to strength, if zenos acts as his conduit to explore the lands between and learn what happened around here properly. there's no real end to the story, but sveinn mostly plays a support role to zenos, being unwilling to fight anyone himself (it was against venat's rules for him to fight other deities when he left).
i think zenos will fall in love with sveinn and choose not to become a lord though. whether he goes to sveinns home with him, or whether he dies i'm unsure. i'm not deeply invested in it as a story with an end haha.

Did emet get the idea of creating clone spare bodies from hemera?
I think cloning was somewhat common in Amaurot, Hemera's clones were just exceptionally unique! So technically no..... however...
I do believe Emet-Selch created "soul-compatible" clones, unlike Lahabrea's body hopping, due to some stuff he picked up from Hemera. I think the soul and the body aren't wholly separate things as far as Sveinncanon goes, and the incompatibility between Lahabrea's hosts and his soul, the dissonance, is part of why he went mad. So Emet does keep Hemera's teachings in mind.

What was emet's thought process when disregarding hemera's concerns about the final days? Did he also just not find the matter of people outside amaurot concerning? I was a bit curious especially since you mentioned thalassa was critically injured and she and emet were close.
I think it was partially yes, a disregard for outsiders...Hemera and Thalassa were exceptions to the rule, he even looks down on Freyja for being an outsider. He loves Amaurot, his duty, his people. Also, I think if "it's something Hemera, the world's greatest medic can't fix, then it's impossible to deal with — or at least not worth wasting Amaurot's efforts on". He didn't believe the Final Days would spread. And also I think he shuts down a bit because of losing Thalassa too. He's scared that he'll lose others, and his whole way of life.

sorry for how i word this & i'm sorry if you've spoken on it before or i somehow offend you but is there a reason for sveinn's body to appear "feminine"? i'm interested in understanding more about him!
mostly because i don't think presentation = gender but also he has a perpetually regenerating body so he couldn't get a surgery or something and i don't like fantasias as a concept. it's not offensive to ask. i usually draw him not presenting as he would day to day, but he still has long hair/doesn't bind/etc.
ALSO. he was raised by venat and i think amaurotines def didnt view gender the same way we do.
