I absolutely lose my shii when I see people talking about jung being creepy as a child well breaking the neck was extreme but it isn't off putting for children especially those without siblings/close friends/cousins, they do tend to not adjust when something does not go their way. Kids yearn parental love in the forms they could understand much more than anything. Jung srsly had a sad childhood not once have we seen him getting physical forms of affection or verbal affirmations at the least you can see how it affects him later in his adulthood. It did help him read people out like a book while struggling with his own emotions and not having conveyed his love for seol in ways she could also perceive the best. I wish to re-read cheese in the trap perhaps next year as there's more to Jung than what meets the eye. (2)

i agreeeee i honestly found the doll breaking comment to be pretty normal cause that's how kids are, they feel possessive over their toys and get back at each other for petty things that way. jung having to give up his belongings at such a young age as his dad taught him to regulate his emotions in situations where HE was being wronged is so sad. i wish there was more content of jung and seol's life after college, i would love seeing them in a happy relationship and being affectionate and verbally affirming each other. the bespoke comics show jung as a match happier and emotionally light person, probably due to the years of happiness he's had with seol.
