It's been two months since the sun has died.

rapid privitazation keeps you warm and working.
the only light you get is from halogen lights that you have to pay to use.

Since the sun died, it has not stopped raining.

Tell me, what is your day in the life?

I stand out in the rain in the early morning staring out into the dark for a while before retreating back into my makeshift quarters. I pass by heavily marked documents detailing designs for collecting the falling ran to turn the now consistent gravitational potential energy to electricity and start working and welding the first few bits of scrap metal I managed to scrimp and save for, keeping my rations meager to do so.

I'd spend most of my day contemplating leaving my room (even though I'd probably die), while doing the absolute minimum required for a paycheck. Or maybe, to stave off those thoughts, I'd read through my entire book collection.
