AHHHHH your art is splendid! I always enjoy your expressions and colors. I'm happy to see that you like them too! I'm actually asking my friend to draw some sytk, but she doesn't have time to watch the anime so is unfamiliar with them. I like that brief descriptor you used and was wondering if you could describe them in more detail so I can share with my friend. Also if you don't mind describing them individually too that'd be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to answer my silly asks.-🥁

i think that the biggest contrast for soyo and taki would be their idea of self preservation. soyo thinks that blending in and pleasing everyone around her is the only way to keep a sense of familiarity and stability. whereas taki's stability and familiarity would be to not lose herself (and what she thinks as hers) by the hand of other ppl and their views of her which is what makes her isolate herself and be a lone wolf etc. and both of them think they're selfish for doing so. soyo for constantly tricking ppl around her and taki for being v unforgiving about ppl's actions.
which is why they also v much understand each other and (as i have seen a sytk fan say) they wouldn't be each other's first choice bc they see thru each other's ways a bit too clearly for comfort (since those are the ways they protect themselves)
