did you grow up more connected to your viet or chinese culture? (I wasn't that ask by the way, but I'm curious about this if you're comfortable sharing 😭)
the two have a lot of similarities so ive never felt disconnected from my chinese side, but viet. its my mother tongue and im not fluent in my family’s chinese dialect like id like to be so that’s a big swing that way. but my art practice combines the two bc they’re still both in me (and i do go by my chinese name with some friends)
