i think charles just attracts... a certain type of fan. kind of like zhang hao and beomgyu... it's the mix of competency and cuteness and then with charles he's somehow both a winner and an underdog at the same time lmao as for lewis, i think that's just bcs he's an actual decent person so it's easy to like him 😭 and mclaren puts out so many videos that are basically just kpop variety show ripoffs, like all those landoscar bonding videos LOL esp compared to some other teams that basically do nothing [cough merc cough]
my fav ship irl is BROCEDES no contest, how can you compare with what is essentially a fanfic writer's toxic yaoi dream but brought to real life... but in terms of fic i think lestappen can't be beat like good god they have some insane writers + i think lestappen's lore is compelling esp compared to maxiel or whatever (sorry if any maxiel fans read this but i am also no comment on it) i'm also waiting for alex to move to merc in 2030 so we can get the galex teammates arc
