I find it funny and sad for Freya that regardless of whether Ruby was in her way or not, she still would not have been able to become Iske's wife. Iske was very determined in his decision not to marry, fearing that he would end up like his father, and he only married for Ellen's sake (though he later fell in love with his wife). Also, if he becomes King in the North, I think he will become a king without a wife, so his heir will likely be either his cousin (although this may not be possible due to her mother's background) or Ellen's future child. So, Freya's schemes will always be pointless, regardless of whether it was carried out successfully or not. Basically, she just wasted her time. So every time Freya does something that gets on my nerves in the manhwa, I always remember that she is always doomed to fail.
Exactly! She got caught up in her own illusions and was very delulu from the beginning. She always wanted to be queen and deduced that the way was through Iske, and she focused so much on the goal that she didn't realize that it was useless. I think her problem has always been that she is too self-confident. You know, people who believe in themselves TOO MUCH are the ones who get disappointed the most because they don't see realistically
