ok i’ve had multiple people come to my inbox about this so i’ll try the best i can to explain without knowing who you are, but i promise it’s not meant as a personal slight! i softblock semi-often i guess bc unless someone has explicitly stated on their profile that they want a heads up, i assume my account and other accounts are generally fub-free. idk maybe that’s an unusual or incorrect perspective? but it just hasn’t occurred to me even when i’ve been softblocked myself that it would be considered rude.

i never do it for no reason. there are tons of possible reasons but often it’s simply bc i felt like the vibes are just not vibing/sometimes i softblock people who have approaches to fandom situations that i disagree with/i find out they often tweet disparagingly about things that bring me joy. i’m not saying they’re wrong to have those opinions! but i don’t necessarily want them on my tl all the time. i generally detect that it’s a mutual feeling when i sense a vibe shift, but if that wasn’t the case for you i am sorry.

i wouldn’t softblock someone i considered a close personal friend (or that i thought considered me one) that i was constantly talking to, but judging from how i’ve gotten some anons who seem to be upset, maybe i read those situations wrong or maybe we all have different views on certain internet etiquette and relationships. i might be more casual about some of this stuff than other people. not sure if that explanation helps at all, but i promise i don’t harbor ill will toward anyone i’ve softblocked (or else i would hard block) and again i’m sorry if i hurt any feelings here.

omg yeonbinkook thoughts!! i forget who i was talking to (maybe kia or mirren???) about how yeonkook are probably too similar to each other to work out as a ship in a practical sense, but you know what IT’S OKAY bc in theory it’s good. they’re good. i just think soobin’s complete unbothered attitude brings a sense of balance to yeonkook’s competitive energy. like he’s the glue and they’d both be obsessed with him <3 as everyone should be <3 also “jungkook-hyung” as a concept is sooooo. it’s sooooo. yeonbin would bring a diff side out of him than the bangtan hyungs do and that interests me greatly. i also think jk would get such a kick out of it :’) i feel like i had more thoughts but i can’t remember now but anyway shipping yeonbinkook is a fun brain exercise everyone should try it once!!!!!!!

omg i assume this is for the 3 ship questions things i did the other day?? (also rip to all of my cc answers for that… legitimately tragic) but yes SOOBKOOK! i wouldn’t say it’s like a top ship of mine or anything but it’s super fun in a conceptual sense so yep i ship it hehe

1. i can’t remember if anything happened before ao3 user gokurakuji made soobkook A Thing, but even if there was something else they definitely were the main reason that the tl and i started to consider soobkook

2. i just enjoy the idea of two isfps that happen to be my ults in a relationship together (this is also why i ship jensoob, coincidentally). plus they’re both bunny-assigned idols and you’d expect them to have many similarities but they’re honestly pretty different?? and digging into those unexpected differences is really fun??? also if you think about it they’re technically a reverse leader-maknae ship in a way that’s fascinating to me hehehe… having opposite roles in their respective groups but the maknae is older than the leader… just not a relationship dynamic you see much of in kpop and that’s the fun of a crossover ship!!

3. umm i think shipping them at all counts as an unpopular opinion LMAO they are not mainstream enough to even have popular opinions. oh well soobkook… one day… ONE DAY…
