haha, absolutely i can! i think i have a slightly different take on Vassago than what I've seen though, so bear with me....

Of course Vassago has had a little crush on Andre since they were kids, he's pretty and cunning and bratty and it just does something to him, sue him. But he also knows exactly how manipulative and selfish Andre is, it could only ever be meaningless and end poorly. He grew up a Goetia, he knows them, he knows strategy and games. So he flirts, because it's fun, but he knows better than to take it further. That way, disaster and heartbreak lie, and he's just not interested. Too much... work.

It takes Andre a while to actually see the flirting, he was convinced for the longest time that was just how friends are sometimes. But then he realizes it's a bit more than friendly. And he decides, well, obviously he's going to bed the parrot. He's asking for it! But for some reason he can't quite seem to close the deal. He obviously wants it, so why hasn't it happened yet? Come on, what is he waiting for? A fucking personalized, engraved invitation? What's going on here?! It's important that he does this, sees it through, he's not a Goetia that half-asses things!! But it's totally not, like, that important. It's a pride thing! Definitely. Totally, absolutely a pride thing. He has this all under control, for sure.

He can let it go at any time. Any time at all. They both can.

urgh making me choose again. fill in the cracks, i guess? i dunno, my goals for each fic were different and i have a harder time evaluating whether i achieved them or not than i do with art, haha. something felt like it hit right, with fitc, that i still can't quite articulate. i had a lot of fun with merpirates tho. and new growth is one that is important to me for personal reasons, i just love Blitz taking to gardening as a way of showing affection. i dunno! i like and wrote all of them for different reasons so comparing them is hard.

fave i've read....... i have a whole tag for recs on tumblr for a reason 😭 Lea's Better To Give is an all-time fave, obviously, as are several of AJWriter's, maybe Lift your hips for me, love. OH and the RDR2-inspired western by audiopilot. but there were also soooo many good ones from nsfwweek!! and every single one i read has something that they do better than me that i want to try to learn from which makes me like it even more and i don't know how to narrow it down to faves other than which ones i've reread the most i guess? sHRUG. everything i rt'd that i read, i loved

oof, that's tough. i generally don't like picking faves, especially since it depends on what criteria i'm evaluating by! i'm really proud of https://x.com/kazoimp/status/1814156625579557051 that one bc i had several specific things i wanted to focus on (line quality, sense of weight, getting the emotion right) that i think i executed well. but i still really love the mer art for the colors and composition, and some of my fanfic art bc it got more people to read my fave fics and told the authors how much i love their writing better than i can with words. >:)

For someone else that's even harder asdgjkl; sblitos and SatorRotas both do IMPECCABLE gesture/body language that i am deeply envious of and want to learn to do better. grem's comics are DIVINE for the character interaction, the way the action is easy to follow, and page composition (which is really difficult to do). i love how Hound uses shapes! gosh i could do on forever asdjkl everyone's art is so damn good
