osdd occurs from trauma if im not wrong. if people are upset at your aggressive tone in your rentry, i don't understand why. im schizophrenic and if i saw people pretending to share the same pain that i did, i would be angry too. also, i have heard that osdd is a disorder that you will be unconscious of, which means you wouldn't know that you were a system unless something caused you to realize it. is this true?
Yes, OSDD and DID are hidden disorders, they act as a defensive mechanism for your brain and trauma so you can live life and function normally without the burden of your experience. I found out about my system during a very heavy breakdown and a very serious mental health crisis, in which I finally heard an alter speak to me. It can be different for many people, some may get diagnosed and find out that way. Thank you for sharing my strong views as well!
