hi! came here from your ramble and it was PERSONALL but as a system it was completely understandable and so real of you. Currently with the spread of infomation about osdd/did people will either take it as knowledge or knowledge to fake it. It really is a shame, but usually when people take info of osdd/did and run with it to fake, they are easily distinguishable, but theres a lot of persistent argument now on the debate of "not all systems are the same", therefore harder and almost impossible to draw a concrete boundary between what is a real or a fake system. That is unless research and a study is done, which can conclude the average but we still cannot take this average as a "requirement" for systems either way. what is your thoughts on this? how could we provide a clearer boundary on how to potentially suspect and more easily recognize systems that arent actually systems -- singlets that are only fascinated with the concept of osdd/did and want to have it themselves?
Well, like you said, with the lack of proper research; we'll almost never know. There can be a lot of signs I've personally made for myself that are pretty "chronically online" in reason, but usually I take peoples word and see the signs when I get to know them. The "most recent" fake system I encountered had a system that seemed like it was consisted of fragments, one note alters with very simple pronouns (mostly neos of things that relate to them) and likes (of things that relate to them) that were not distingushiable between members. These three things alone or together aren't a red flag, becaue OSDD 1A systems would struggle with such. But, they told me they "didn't know their system type," and didn't seem well versed in their own self-diganosis. They tried to make all their alters unique, while also not at the same time. It was inconsistent and obvious. A few others I've met spread "endogenic" rhetoric or psychologically impossible ideas ("system-hopping," and "creating your own alters") that proved them to me. Some people have systems but spread misinformation, and they get blended with the crowd. Just trust your instinct, but don't go around looking for petty signs to "fakeclaim" someone, either.
