I've been thinking about dantoru but I had nobody to talk to and now I'm crazy about them
So I like to imagine danchou and torpe have an age gap. I won't specify exactly but danchou is older by a bit. He also controls a lot of stuff related to torpe's life and knows that kicking him out of the orchestra would ruin his life.
