did you start to learn jp on your own because of enstars? to understand akatsuki stories in particular? or have you already vaguely known the language prior

I knew how to read hiragana and katakana thanks to my time in the Twisted Wonderland Fandom (this was pre twstEN) but I only started to properly learn for akatsuki yeah.

How do you have such a firm understanding of characters?

Thank you for the compliment! Hmm I don't know Precisely but I do know that I'm really methodical about How I look at them? But also I read a lot lol.
There's the empathetic level, where I look at how they talk about and react to certain things and try to make inferences about them using their upbringing. For instance, I drew the conclusion that Keito's bluntness of speech comes from his family allowing him to be quite unrestrained and questioning of their authority, even without this being explicitly stated in the text. I concluded on my own that He's much more friendly after graduating because he's out of an environment wherein he felt compelled to act like an imposing authority figure to maintain the status of the student council. Stuff like that. When I look at how a character acts, I try and trace it to something to form a three dimensional picture of them.

Then there's a more thematic/metatextual level...? Where I look at what the character means to the narrative within the medium it lives in and the trends that the author exhibits. Akira is a big fan of embracing parts of humanity that are often viewed as messy. Which is why Kuro's 'delinquent redemption arc' was fundamentally flawed, because it stemmed from self-hatred. So I see his current writing and I can grasp what the writer intends.

I love. Media analysis. And I like analyzing behaviors... It's interesting to think about why people act the way that they do.

I saw this in a dream but what do you think Kanna's relationship with Leo would be like? Since Kanna is a genius child and Leo was too and Leo said he didn't have a balanced childhood for that reason when Kanna seems to be suffering from something similar...do you think Leo might understand Kanna?

I feel like even though they might deeply relate to eachother, Leo's loudness and unpredictability would make Kanna want to avoid him

Well Maeda was definitely a wild child as a Kabukimono (like a deviant samurai) but as far as I know he never had a particular relationship of sorts with Nobunaga. What I could find was that Nobunaga muddled with his family affairs and robbed him of his position as heir by giving the role of family head to his father's younger brother... So in real life, Maeda probably didn't get along with Nobunaga.

Not strictly tbh it's kind of nebulous, but Usually. I usually use it to indicate who's more proactive but to avoid misunderstandings I forgo any consideration of it when discussing characters under 18.

If Akatsuki ever get a megatour (like SS final or the upcoming Alkakurei tour) which group do you want them to share the tour with and why?

Really hard because they've already gotten one with Ryuseitai and UNDEAD and I don't want to repeat that. Well honestly. I'd have to say Trickstar! They're kind of oddly running parallel to Trickstar, and are sometimes compared to them, I really thing some cool large scale event involving two of the most unruly units in their respective agencies, both 'revolutionaries' would end up producing interesting results
