Well Maeda was definitely a wild child as a Kabukimono (like a deviant samurai) but as far as I know he never had a particular relationship of sorts with Nobunaga. What I could find was that Nobunaga muddled with his family affairs and robbed him of his position as heir by giving the role of family head to his father's younger brother... So in real life, Maeda probably didn't get along with Nobunaga.
