So, Sikarien was already getting into being a sub before meeting Udaesnmocris, which is what was hinted at in his proflle. To quote it directly:

"His cybernetic limbs were the result of an accident in extremely risk-taking behavior that left the lower half of his body crushed and unable to be repaired, requiring a whole restructure of his body from the ribs down. Not long thereafter he decided he shouldn't be the one to make the decisions in his life and experimented with being a non-sexual submissive, and in time realized he found more calm and fulfillment taking orders than he did risk-taking, eventually settling to live with Udaesnmocris. The visor was a voluntary procedure he had installed of his own volition."

Thinking on it, I feel like it might have started as a joke, some friend telling him he shouldn't make decisions for himself anymore because he was going to get himself killed. Which he found himself thinking about more seriously than he expected. So he participates in the scene, runs into Udaesnmocris, and things clicked.
