do you think getting inspiration from other fics is a bad thing? sometimes i read a fic and i really like the plot or other aspects and i want to write something similar or hm idk how to explain betterā¦
not at all!! i think there are very clear lines of plagiarism, so iāll tell u some things that i personally avoid: copying things word for word, copying the plot structure for a fic,
for ex: if someone reads ur fic and says that they see very big similarities with another fic (as in, the scenes that happen in Fic A are in the exact same order but worded differently as Fic Bās)...
things i DONāT consider plagiarism is copying a certain trope or personality of a character that someone else has written, because i think itās something youāll see in every fic like that kind of thing is pretty normal to me!! if thereās a scene you rlly like in a fic and it inspires u to write something surrounding that id say thatās perfectly fine? it just depends on how much you actually take from it cos that can be harmful!! number one thing to rmr is that if u get that similar feeling of reading an online article and ārephrasingā it for an essay ur about to hand in to your professor... youāre plagiarizing!!
thatās just my opinion, but you can always tell me about specifics of what you want to do and we can go from there

omg hi it's me i didn't mean to offend u or hurt u in anyway im so sorry. really! i hope i didn't bring u down in any way w that because that wasn't my intention at all i was kidding when i said that because i was in a goofy mood then (ik it's not an excuse) i didn't mean to be rude nor did i want to offend u in anyway im so sorry again! looking again i do see how it can come off negatively and i totally understand if u were in anyway put off by it but i just want u to know that it wasn't my intention to sound entitled or demanding in anyway. i did clarify i was kidding immediately but i do understand if u got upset by the way it started out. i should've clearly assessed that we rnt in anyway close enough for me to take that kinda liberty. i realllyy don't want u to think i was trying to pressure u or invalidate u.
