I’m a bit late to finish the 4.1 aq but I gotta say I went in thinking sigewinne and wriothesley would have a cute family father daughter relationship after the aq I really can’t see anything like that anymore. At best maybe sigewinne is more like an older sister? Idk I love found family stuff but she’s actually more interesting like this!

After reading those leaks, Neuvillette has got to be, imo, the coolest character in the game. Like amongst the characters, him and alongside Nahida dropped the biggest lore bomb for the lore enthusiasts to spoon-feed everything like it's a full coarse meal. Him saying he will become the "tyrant king" (probably referring to Nibelung after he successfully obtained Forbidden Knowledge to declare war against celestial) to deliver judgement to celestial (usurper) without any hint of fear, like it's so powerful and sexy of him 🙏 Furthermore, I also realized that Neuvillette sounded quite cold and disdainful but objective and nicer when sharing his thoughts about Nahida in contrast to his soft-hearted, apologetic and socially awkward side... Maybe he got his memories back?
I never realized Wriothesley have trust issues and perhaps a depressing, angst backstory. Despite having the recognition from Navia's deceased father because he's capable and intelligent, I definitely didn't expect Wriothesley to be very honest with his abilities and weaknesses and has the courage to openly speak about them, I thought he's like Alhaitham who's gifted from the get-go, strong personality, self-reliant, independently solves problems, makes decisions for himself and needs nobody to help him. But I could be wrong since we still haven't met him yet on screen. Moreover, he's seems to be quite easy-going, thoughtful and friendly type from the tone. He's such a good guy. He's also very understanding from About Furina's voiceline. Hoyoverse never ceases to disappoint us with Fontaine's unique personalities which are drastically different from our headcanons.
Finally I can answer you! Since both of them are released. Hehe!
Neuvillette is the gentle strength of Fontaine. He's never ruthless yet the impartiality he insist on, may seem cruel but only that I must be cruel to be kind. I cannot wait for 4.2 now to see how the whole AQ is panned out, and whether or not Neuvillette will become angry or accepting of his role as a dragon sovereign in Fontaine.
Wriothesley. Don't get me started. He's the epitome of a knight of necessity. He does what he must to make sure that the underground continues to be cleansed of the sins it brings. He's definitely gifted, teaching himself many things, even shipbuilding though he can't build a ship. I'm very absorbed by these two men and the way that they are written.

It feels very lonely when I make and post stuff and get engagement but no comments. Even an emoji makes my day. I like to contribute to fandoms because I want to find and make friends. Such things keep me going. But lately, I feel like a machine posting content but no human connection and that makes me sad. Just wanted to rant. Sorry..

If I were a good artist (or not busy), I'd draw it next to Childe asap 😭 whether he'd conquer it eventually, use it as an extension of his powers, or just being in awe at seeing it again . . . (and another part of me wants to see it with the exuvia or geo whale haha . . . just because)

I just finished 4.1 AQ . . . Cholde . . .
And that Neuvi scene of sealing back the primordial water, reminds me a lot of Zhongli SQ 2 and the big shield he made for us. I was interested when Neuvi said 'all living dragon sovereign successors do not possess their full dragonhood or elemental powers unless they retrieve it from the Archons'. Wonder if he knows where/who are the other successors (other than Apep). There are also sovereigns said to have fled to the Dark Sea hmm.
Meanwhile, I'm really sold with the Wriolette interactions lmao 😭😂 their dynamic is a bit different than what I expected, but I love them, haha
Now I can answer all the 4.1 AQ questions.
Childe! I am so taken to see him floating in the Primordial Sea and that whale just swimming overhead - really wish his lore will be revealed soon and I'm very very excited to meet Skirk if she's going to come out soon and take care of matters.
Also about Neuvillette and dragon sovereign law, for some reason I keep thinking of not for Focalors' intervention, 'Neuvillette' would had turned into some bloodthirsty creature intent on destroying Fontaine? (Similar feel/contempt Apep holds...)
wriolette is interesting, isn't it - they ended up being the one pair that didn't seem like they were THAT at the start, everyone assuming they would be enemies to lovers, turned out it was not that at all

Who are you pulling for next besides Wriothesley and Furina?
Probably will stop and save. I am not touching Wriothesley's weapon banner because of that bow... I hope Furina at leas has a good weapon combo on her banner, else I'll just save up and wait out weapon banners.
Navia and Clorinde, I would pull if I have funds just for keepsake. I doubt I'll end up using them. There's just too many characters I want to collect.

Speaking of that wq with the poor fries guy anon mentioned… it kind of reminds me of how inefficient things are in Japan too. I worked in Japan as a teacher for a period and after I left that job I wanted to ask a coworker to write me a recommendation letter for my next job. They told me they had to ask their boss… who then had to ask their boss… and then their boss… and then somehow the chain of asking went all the way to city hall. All that just to say “sorry my boss said I’m not authorized to write you one”. Took almost two whole weeks just for that smh 😨
