uhhh anon i think we got lost in translation. it’s not that we can’t associate bomgi with femininity but the way SOME (i can say most too) people here hate or being violent when someone’s appreciating his masculinity. and the way those are also the same people who hate seeing yj showing his feminine side because it doesn’t fit with how they see their dynamics are just so dumb. like making them fit in the traditional way is ok in fics it’s fiction anyway but sometimes it bleeds into their real life too that’s what we’re talking about. both of them have the fem and masc side so why being denial and invalidating one of it just because that’s not how you see them??
exactly, like they both have both sides so there's no need to deny one side of them just because it doesn't fit your fav dynamic of them. I think we as a community should work on this by proving to those people that both dynamics works and that we should draw the line btw fiction and reality.
also I really get what you mean, cuz I've received many asks saying that they hates the feminine side of yj and saw many people sending hate asks to authors when they make bg top in their fic. yes most queer relationships have one of them as a bbg, and both bg and yj can do bot so there's no need to only want ONE dynamic.
