ahh, I'm glad you enjoyed it bc that one in particular is actually one of my favourites ever (every day I regret that it's not a longer fic than it currently is and wonder if people would /notice/ if I randomly added another few scenes). there's a lot of worldbuilding left out of the narrative that I just...haven't talked about. and no, no one else knows or even suspects a thing, although hnji would probably be able to put it together if he were ever given the opportunity to do so [he will not be given the opportunity to do so]. chn knowing is a SEVERE anomaly; consider him to be the equivalent of someone who's married in while keeping in mind that outsiders /don't/ normally marry in; families are /super/ insular. cb's past romances were all with other people who were just like him, and his family, specifically, is traditional enough that he's the talk of the family gatherings.
your sequel request has me absolutely cackling because believe it or not, there IS a sequel in progress that's been in progress for almost a year (it was stalled. several times) although it may not be as heavy as expected on the expected gremlin antics (somehow mnhyng are the ones Really Heavy on the antics there)
