hello! ^^ it's been almost 24 hours since you tweeted out a notification that results emails had been sent, however, there are still several people who haven't received anything yet. was this because you were only sending acceptance emails and not rejection emails? this was never made clear to the applicants, and there has only been radio silence since the tweet got put out.
in addition to this, there is still a timer going on your carrd for contributor applications even though you were made aware of this mistake over a week ago, and you were given an additional reminder 3 days ago. there are also multiple instances where it is stated that applications are still open despite them being closed for ten days and receiving a reminder to change that information 3 days ago as well.
i'm very excited for this zine, and i want it to succeed, but zines are professional projects, and the lack of organisation and the inability to keep things up to date despite multiple reminders from various participants makes me concerned for the future of this project. if you could take the time to address these issues, it would be greatly appreciated. i wish you guys the best, and i hope you have a lovely day!! thank you! :3

Hi, I know your contributor apps just closed but I was under the impression that the time on the carrd was the time the form was closing and there was still more time? It feels really misleading :(
Hello! We are very sorry for the late responses! Unfortunately, we are unable to re-open the apps due to all applicants information has been updated to google sheet. We also are unaware that the carrd timer is still counting. Again, we are deeply sorry for the lack of information on the time zone we use and the misleading counter! We hope you still can support us through and through.
Even if you couldn't contribute as a contributor, even knowing you as one of our followers, moots and people who regularly check our posts, you have already done so much for us, so please cheer up! We are rooting for you and those who are unable to contribute 🤍

If it's possible, could plan to add alt text to PDF images? (I have no clue whether or not if it's possible to alt text pdf!) It would really be cool so disabled and blind/low vision vocalofans could "see" our images 😊🫶 I wouldn't want them left out of the fun!!

Apologies if I missed this somewhere. On your requirements you mention "2 Samples of work in progress (WIP) merch designs." What do you mean by that? Does that mean you want people to make designs for the zine before they apply?
Hello! Thank you for reaching out. As for that part of the sample requirements, we would like to see your progress to double-check the progress and to see applicants planning for any design. And no, we won't ask contributors to do merch design before acceptance. We hope this answers your questions!

1) What format do you want the writer portfolio to be in? Sorry if this is silly, I’m new to that sort of thing.
2) does the writing that is submitted as part of the portfolio have to be vocaloid related specifically?

1. Any format as long as it is accessible for public/view and it's alright to ask these questions!
2. It doesn't need to be only Vocaloid related, but if you do have some, feel free to submit it.

As zines go this one is pretty suspicious. None of your mods appear to follow any major vocaloid Ps or artists, not even deco*27, which your zine is seemingly based off of. Why do you need merch artists if you're making a free digital zine? You need to sort a lot of stuff out if you're going to make yourself and your team seem trustworthy.
Hello! We are really glad you decided to reach out. To answer your concerns, all of the Love Words! Mod team has been into Vocaloid, Synth, and other similar genres. We listen to them rather regularly but that wouldn’t be shown on our social profiles as that is in our music history.
We would like to apologize for the suspiciousness regarding our zine. However, this zine is fully free including merch that will be digital. Zines include merch regardless of if they are free or for purchase. Digital merch can be printable coloring pages, bookmarks, etc.

4 completed illustrations
1 Illustration must have a completed background. No simple coloured or patterned background.
1 Vocaloid illustration preferred. Not necessary, if you don't have them.
2 Samples of your best art pieces.
But the google form asks for best illustration, best vocaloid fanart, and portfolio. Are the pieces in the portfolio supposed to contain 4 other pieces not including what we put in best illustration and best vocaloid fanart? Thank you!
