hello! would certain word count allowances for writers' pieces be acceptable? eg an extra 300 words on the 500-1k limit, for a total of 1.3k words? thanks!

Thank you for your interest 💌 unfortunately 300 words above the limit is too high. we are allowing some allowances (mainly under 100 over the limit) but are not accepting beyond that. this is to ensure those applying are able to provide a piece that would fit into the zine’s confines.
