I'd also like to point out that Kiga has rescued someone from decapitation in the past. It makes sense she could also preserve a devil's head and keep it alive. Would explain why Kiga is eating more than usual. She's eating for two - actually, what if Kiga has to eat enough food for all the devils she keeps as her pets? would be a cool explanation for her voracious appetite
you know, even after this recent chapter, this has still been on my mind. kiga can ressurect dead beings, quote unquote. but at what price? i'd like it if nayuta was brought back to life, but coming back wrong. it would maintain the consequences and stakes of denji symbolically sacrificing her to become csm, while also allowing for her character to continue to exist with a narrative weight without being snuffed too early for shock value. still crossing my fingers for this, but at this point it's not a prediction so much as it is a prayer and begging.
