Who fell in love first? Lyra or Thancred? Was it the same person who made the actual first move later on?

lyra definitely fell in love first but i think thancred always had an inkling of "feelings" towards her that he only began to realize around the time she confessed. very slowburn feelings on both sides! and it's lyra who made a move!
