oh ☹️☹️☹️ thank you sooo much waaah… it’s actually fascinating how things took a turn for me bc i used to find my dialogues/convos sooo stilted and that’s why i was pressing more on descriptions. i’m not implying that i’m a standout now but i believe in my improvement enough to not disparage myself. in my case i think my foray into filipino threadfics improved that (+ repeated exposure to it) bc being able to assimilate a culture i’m accustomed to into writing really eased me through the learning curve. i’ve also been keenly observing AND absorbing other people’s talking/typing style ever since wjwwhjekrf and when it comes to dialogue, i’d always throw lines with and to myself bc it helps measure the flow and how faithful i believe it’d be to not just markren as people or as source material but to colloquial conversations as well. this is why i’m always so floored by comments underlining how realistic it reads/sounds/feels like like AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.. THANK YOU 😭 i really do try. i could only pray i never lose touch or hopefully even better myself over time :(
