tighnari/haitham: had to start with my personal guilty pleasure. many think kaveh & haitham ones to butt heads intellectually, but the real wit sparks when tighnari enters the room. it's explosive, almost bordering hate sex if they weren't so enamored with each other. haitham is such a tease and tighnari fights for control, it's a wonder nari doesn't end up biting his dick off-- but later when his cheek is pressed into the mattress and utterly wrecked, maybe he'll call it even. love them.

tighnari/cyno: insta classic, have always loved them. like classic lovers, deepened by the intimacy that comes with best-friendship. i like to think they're smitten with each other and very handsy, pinkies entwined always for the closest connection in the smallest ways. dictionary definition of understanding. lovemakers!!! yet still kinky ofc.

tighnari/kaveh: UNDERESTIMATED KINGS; their teasing is off the charts. not trying to infuriate each other, so familiar in friendship in a similar way to nari/cyno but this time with a 'ur so hot i always wanna kiss you' kind of way. even in friendship i see them being very queerplatonic; but as 4gg lovers, dial it up by 900%. always making out in the corner of lambad's, tighnari teasing little moans out of kaveh when he's feeling a tad more sadistic than usual. cyno: probably has the most physically leaning ones e.g. scent, feet, armpits, etc, won't go insane asking for them but rather indulge himself with them in the middle of the act when it's natural. i don't see him being particularly dominant, but also not the bratting type-- he'll get SUPER into it and let others make him beg, but it'll always be in whispers and quiet pleas. so, begging, marking, and just general proximity. will also wear a collar but will NOT be flaunting it about.

kaveh: arguably the kinkiest to me in terms of countering tighnari's experimenting on them, will enjoy pretty much anything thrown at him as long as they have him in that fuzzy headspace. but the best ways to get him there: praise, loving degradation, keeping his mouth occupied, stuffing him full (size kink). rarely tops, but again they can get him to do many things while he's floating off to cloud 9. also one for bondage and overstimulation. get him in something sexy, and he'll get just a bit brattier.

so tighnari is my fav to mess around with, i love making his ears and tail super noticeable and expressive-- i see him as the shortest amongst the 4, probably around 5'6 and with somewhat broad shoulders but otherwise not a lot of build. gorgeous caramel skin. he has some pudge to his stomach and definitely has thick thighs considering all the walking/jumping of navigating the forest, and i looove the hc that he has a WICKED lightning scar down his shoulder, trailing his spine, twisting around him like a crackling vine. he's also my personal fav to hc as ftm, LOTS of shenanigans with being a fox creachur eyes emoji...

cyno is fun too, next tallest at 5'7, darkest skin with a deeply warm undertone, and the hermanubis is fun to mess with too cuz its like, who knows what that does to his body!! i wouldnt say he's crazy muscular but he's probably one of the most toned in terms of muscle structure (somehow those abs are still overshadowed by haithams) since he's extremely active in the matra work. strong arms, well toned thighs, and dirty ass feet. and i think he has a tiny booty heehee, otherwise i usually hc him as cis male, near-average size.

kaveh next tallest, 5'11 clean, he has a complex about that, don't poke fun. golden tan skin, like a beach at sunset. hair unruly and sunbleached. lean body but in a "i wield a claymore less than mehrak does" kind of way-- obviously he has the underlying muscle to yank his claymore about, but deeper tension from being hunched over and clutching his pen too hard leaves him with more difficulty training and gaining heavy muscle. instead he has some padding of fat on his body, especially after moving in with alhaitham!! boy eats WELL under his watch!! so lean, but not defined. if ftm, i see him with very little bottom growth, but if cis, my irl friend and i say hes HUNG but he just doesnt know how to use it LOLL

haitham last, 6'0 which he DEFINITELY DOES NOT TEASE ANYBODY WITH WHATSOEVER, by far the bulkiest which is so funny cuz thats literally just a guy at a desk 9-5. tawny, cool-toned, but deep tanned skin. can grow good scruff!! i just think one of his special interests happens to be toning muscle and training for excellent swordsmanship, probably sparring with others like dehya regularly. anyway, broad shoulders, bulky biceps, and hella carved abs-- though as he gets older i can see that turning into a MEAN dad bod, but never has any cake on that booty. i also unironically think he skips leg day too often bc he doesnt like those so his legs need work LOL, anyway i usually envision him cis male and slightly above average, but actually knows how to use it (low sex drive tho), and looove giving him a nice happy trail.

good question!! i'm very freestyle. i have a hard time planning things out especially bc i really value scenes coming naturally (e.g. in dialogue heavy scenes, who's talking, what about, and what needs to be said?) such that it can become very improv with respect to the overarching plot. in terms of planning, i DO always think about what i want the main climax to be -> what the ending FEELS like... like desolee came about thinking of kaveh's mother getting sick, and i knew i wanted the ending to be happy/hopeful, so that lays out the general flow of feeling (omg moms sick omg panic omg sharing comfort omg love omg hopeful recovery, and thats the story!) so yeah. i usually write front to back, no jumping to other scenes, which can be really hard-- but i just really want it all to build naturally and flow together without jumping around. i also do a single heavy edit before posting, but sometimes if i step away for a while i have to go back and reread anyway haha!

so per the second question, very freestyle-- for the third question, i very much become inspired by other works' tropes (usually i read from other fandoms surprisingly) and then im like hmm. id like to do that trope! otherwise ive had a LOT of ideas over the years and i havent been POSTING fics in a long time, so i have a whole flood of ideas that have accumulated that just. ive been putting on hthm and kvh LMAOO yeah but i just usually have tropes/story beats i personally enjoy and then i write abt them :> now, writing for the gotcha for gaza event has been fun because it challenges me to view ideas i dont normally think of and to run with them. im excited to finish my second prompt soon!
