omg.... tysm... !!! my mental cheat sheet for writing tension is that it's not just a description, it's a game of buildup. tension has a source and THEN a feeling. wheres the blush without the subtle touch along their jaw? the stuttering intake of air without the teasing words that put a vice around their lungs to begin with? tension is so fun to write. it's tit for tat, each piece introduced slowly until the tension is everywhere, unignorable. bound to explode.
