yo dude omaegotoki are you into naoru now?
Just this series for now. I've tried reading several other Narou fics, including some very popular and well-regarded stuff, in the past, but I could never tolerate the writing enough to get very far in them.
Omae Gotoki has made appreciate web novels as a storytelling format, at least; until reading it, I had convinced myself that there was nothing worthwhile out there just published for free on the internet, but clearly that's not the case. Kind of a silly mindset, since I've enjoyed plenty of freeware games and VNs, but I suppose that's what a combination of preconceived notions and bad prior experiences will do.
I'm still not very interested in trying to sort through Narou to find new things myself, but Omae Gotoki has at least convinced me that it's worth giving everything a shot, no matter what the source of it is. If nothing else, I'll check out some of kiki's other works and continue buying the print versions of Omae Gotoki as they come out.
As far as other Narou stuff goes, I'm interested in this, since the writing style is very elegant and the author has become friends with Mareni: https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/4800287464
Maybe one of the other yuri stories on Narou is worth reading... they probably don't fall into the same ORETUEEEE tropes, at least.
