where does teles name come from
funny u ask this question cause i actually put thought into her name. shes based on flygon and when i was deciding on a name i was looking over flygon dex entries i saw that the sound flygon makes while flapping its wings sounds like singing + some dex entries even say that can lure people in so i was like oh okay cool sirens. so i started looking up names of sirens and thought teles was cool and boom

are there any common motifs with your characters that hold story symbolism (like how shena's associated w butterflies)
honestly i havent though much abt symbolism with my little guys . which i really should so i can ruin everyones lives including my own but my usual oc thoughts are either "how many horrors can i subject these guys to" or "what is the funniest pairing i can make with them because i like putting these guys in situations"

i feel like magireco tends to do this based on color if anything because i feel like i have a hard time getting a definite idea on what classifies a character as xyz element buttttt
light - aether, ellie
dark - lillian
forest - willow, teles, aster
aqua - celeste, valerie, yuki
no void because that has specific classifications (if someone had to be void i think aether or yuki could probably make the cut here) and no flame bc none of them are red enough

answer for as many or as few as you want how do they cope with grief
oh i have not thought about this at all hold on. ill answer for who i can come up with decent answers for
celeste - shes actually quite used to loss. her go to emotion is frustration and anger i think. not in a destructive way but in a angry cry sort of way. if shes upset enough i think she'd start snapping at people
willow - cry, cry, and cry some more. hes a sopping wet little guy hes a crier for sure
aether - shut everyone else out and isolate himself. he hasnt lost lives before but he has lost friends and his answer to that was cut off everyone and make sure he could never form a meaningful relationship ever again so there would be no repeats. i guess this means aethers method of coping just in general is self destructive behaviors
teles - smoke. teles's answer to negative emotions is usually go smoke

go out and have fun: aether, teles
traditional shopping and dinner night type shit: celeste, valerie
doesnt care for the holiday/could not even try to imagine actually having a date to do things with: yuki, ellie
if yuki and ellie Had to come up with an idea theyd probably both be domestic leaning although yuki might enjoy a bit of shopping

between family friends or romantic relations what do your ocs think is most important
lillian - probably an inbetween for friends and family
celeste - family
willow - family
valerie - family (but shes had neither before so thats all she really knows to value)
aether - inbetween friends and romantic. i think hes a little more romance leaning
teles - family but friends are a close second
yuki - he literally doesnt care for any of these because hes a loser. yukis answer is none.
aster - family leaning
ellie - family
somehow ended up with a lot of family people. aside from the people with flop families most of them have really good relations with their families or have always put them first so they dont really have time for others

if your ocs had the choice would they keep their talent/title as an ultimate or would they reject it
talents arent as heavily a thing for our fangan compared to normal dr its like heres a cool title and some money so you can go to college or something. thats all you get bye. so theyre Special but not on the degree ultimates are to where people get like insanely fucking jealous its basically just. youre credible in whatever job field your talent leans towards. anyways most of them are pretty content with their talents i think the only people who have beef with theirs are teles (not what she wanted) ellie (not a dislike theyre fine on that aspect but sometimes it feels containing bc they would like to expand their work) and aether (again doesnt hate having it but he feels it couldve had a different name/actually described what he does better. this is a me thing though in giving him something that worked but isnt coherent enough imo)

i will say based is like half and half actual question and "are you fucking serious" and for that: lillian ellie valerie aster are question leaning with willow and aether being are u kidding me. celeste is kinda in the middle. does this make sense
