omg!!! ok so i’ve shipped them since the 4.1 archon quest when we got their cutscene and initially i just loved the complicated flavor there with wriothesley kidnapping/using lynette and freminet…. like all of that was so delicious to me and i was like Okay so enemies to lovers is what i am hearing….??
i agree with everything you’re saying!!!!! their characters are both very individually complex and i love love how they are foils of each other, both of them bred and brought up in a toxic and/or abusive system - though while one of them took it in stride due to guilt and some fucked up sense of repayment, the other murdered the masterminds and ended up in jail for it. like isn’t that crazy. and then both of them making their way to the top of the cream again lyney still in the system as arlecchino’s heir and wrio as the duke of the fortress he ended up in after forcefully leaving the system. they mirror each other exactly!!!
their personalities are soooo fun to play around with their dynamic is just genuinely so fun to explore!!!! i love BANTER if that isn’t obvious. and the flavor of banter that wrny have is so
hot and cold (haha get it) and there can be so much sexual tension there. enemies who banter and get on each other’s nerves but also cannot stay away from one another for some inexplicable reason. it would take a lot for them to actually get together and exploring that is so interesting to me considering both of their pasts and also their fucked up history regarding the events of the 4.1 aq.
also an add on i love age gap as a trope. so. also they look so good together like…. red and black red and black….
