so my friend started watching naruto and i was so excited bc it's my favourite anime, she got to the episodes post danzo fight and she hits me with "omg sasuke is such an emo spoiled child why is he saying he will destroy konoha, itachi died to protect it!!" when i tell u i sighed so loud.....

I've seen most of the boruto anime and I definitely understand the filler complaints bc it's a lot. But imo they gave the side characters arcs and substance that made them sm better than in the manga honestly. I did like the trio of boruto mitsuki and sarada in it too, unfortunately not as much yaoi as in naruto other than like borumitsuki so it fails in that area mister yaoi

Unfortunately even the idea of yaoi in that doesn’t interest me and that’s mostly bc I know I wouldn’t gaf about the actual main character. Naruto was already more than enough. There were parts of it that dragged the hell on but I only continued bc I love the main characters and I wanted to see how it ended for them. I’m satisfied with getting that

I just skimmed through it bc you reminded me it came out yesterday. I’m gonna be honest I got no damn clue what’s going on but I think the fact that amane and tsukasa are tormenting these damn kids is
1. Really funny but 2. shows that no matter what they’re all doomed to suffer in some way😭 which I knew would be the case bc fake world arc was showing how important it is not to run from your own reality and how cruel it may be.
I like getting more insight on Kou honestly he is one of the saddest characters in the series and the fact that he unintentionally deprived himself of a boyfriend bc he had to be mom #2 after his actual mom died is so sad😭 Like it was obvious for a while now but. My poor little kou

He’s actually my most hated character of all time. Most of the characters on that list I’m mostly indifferent towards but Sanemi I genuinely truly hate and like you said it’s laughable that we’re supposed to feel sorry for him at any point
