I miss haw too 😖😖😖 let's say it's been a year since their first trip... and they've definitely gone on another! they have to scale it back a bit from the first one, of course.... I'm thinking they either go on a couple day trips, or just another short one around kai's birthday again (since yj basically funded the trip last time, but now he's funding the 3choi apartment). no feelings realizations quite yet, but lots of veiled homoeroticism.... yeonjun gets a little too emotional and handsy when he has more than one beer in him (impressive considering how emotional and handsy he is already).... taehyun's crushes wax and wane.... soobin asks too many questions about tyunning's sex life....... kai is enjoying being their emotional safe space.... beomgyu has realized that his heart has a room for a lot of love, even if he isn't quite sure what kind of love he wants yet..........

tbh my post-haw headcanon is that beomgyu continues school for one more year, then takes a gap year, then finishes his degree. his mental health is much better since he moved out of his father's apartment, but he's still recovering and decides that it's better to take care of himself before he ends up in that state again.... so this second trip is a break for them all, but specifically the start is a new chapter in beomgyu's healing :]

they take many smaller trips over the years and begin to explore other destinations, but their next loooooooooong trip is four years later, after taegyukai graduate together. that's when the magic starts to happen..................
