The only completed deck I have that's playable in ranked is Shiranui (now with 2x rinne), but I do really enjoy playing Shiranui so that's not really a problem. I have quite a lot of stuff in the works though, like Luard (because of course), Blaster Exceed, Chaos, and maybe Scharhrot?? Back when Jingle Thuria was still a thing I did play Ahsha though.

I guess it depends on what you're trying to get out of the game???? Like I'm mainly here to have fun and brainrot a normal amount and playing meta/winning is just a bonus. As for cost, I came from ygo where current meta decks are like a thousand bucks, so vanguard does feel like at least slightly cheaper??? And of course I built the most expensive deck in the format I play (v-prem luard),,,,,
