If Okage had a remake announced would your gut reaction be excitement or concern for the future?

I have selfish feelings and more general feelings... Because it's a game so near and dear to me, and because I've come to love it through its flaws, I've accepted it as it is and admittedly I think it would be difficult to not focus on the differences of a remake- I would really worry about art direction and budget and development time... It isn't a game that I can see would be given much budget... It's too much of a financial gamble. When I don't like remakes or remasters for some reason though, there will always be the original, and I can always go back to that and appreciate what I think it still does better. This is also an entirely selfish thought, but I'd worry about new fans. I feel like the quiet, peaceful and tight-knit dynamic of the current fandom is pleasant... Since it's a very old game, the majority of the fanbase is generally an older age, and it affects the culture in a way where I think some problems that can arise from younger fans' mentality generally is avoided. Any murmurs of issues or disagreements has been very lowkey and usually handled maturely... I don't see much of anything bad, ever.
