If a young person wanted to know what career they should pursue to make as much money as possible, what would you recommend they do?

I would ask 1) why the fuck they're asking me when I get paid jack shit and 2) what are you good at? what do you like? what can you do every day for at least a small chunk of your life? If you don't know the answers (which I doubt you will bc me too): try stuff out, talk to people, gather info and experiences.

I have a lot of younger cousins who, when they started college, asked me for career/choosing a major advice. They always want to know what the best major is, is this major hard, what pays well, etc. They want a one size fits all answer and it literally doesn't exist. You'll be busting your ass for just about any path. Nothing's more soul crushing than busting your ass for something you don't want (trust me I would KNO), so figure out what it is you don't want (what careers you absolutely could not /do not want to do) and work from there. try new stuff, volunteer, talk to people in diff fields
