I think kids vs no kids will also depend on the details of jm’s trauma because it’s clearly a little different in afterlife compared to the original work. I know some anons say that jm’s independence is important to him but his youth and choice and ability to consider having a family was robbed from him. Jn brings jm back to a mentality he never had the chance to really explore, so I still think the idea of kids can be considered :) overall I’m gonna be really happy with either outcome, I’m REALLY happy to read the spoiler that jm does not have to sacrifice his career!! And I can’t wait for when jm and jn’s respective pasts are finally revealed to us in full.

ahhhh in afterlife there’s so much left unsaid between them but they seem to understand each other subconsciously little by little 🥹 and while they also should just talk to each other I also am enjoying them falling into this mutual wavelength together 🥹🥹 nomin feels for real!!!

This is regarding afterlife. I agree with the anon who said no kids but I think jmn doesn’t want to have kids atm because of his mom and everything but won’t that change when they fall deep in love and get married? It was cute in the first one, I think it can also work with the rewrite. Kids and kittens 🥹

about afterlife, I see people saying that they need kids here too. Although it's cute, I think it takes away from the character's dynamic. Jaemin fought and fights a lot to be recognized as he is and he doesn't want to have children. If that happens, the impression that will remain within the context of this fic, at least for me, is that no omega can be happy if he doesn't get pregnant, which is what his mother wants him to be.
[elrs] I’ve been giving it a lot of thought these days because I’ll need to make that decision within the next two updates 🤔🤔🤔🤔 I really want them to have their precious family and I know they’ll make the best parents 😭😭 but you’re right too, I’m not sure how well that fits their dynamic this time! Especially because of Jno’s family; they wouldn’t want to bring children into a potentially dangerous environment (and Jno isn’t going to retire from his dad’s business any time soon). But also - spoiler!! - unlike last time, Jmn isn’t going to sacrifice his career. Even when he was being blackmailed, he didn’t give them what they wanted and protected his hard work instead. So I haven’t made up my mind yet 100% but I’m leaning towards no kiddies atm. (Definitely more kitties though!!)

Afterlife is really my fav 😭 I love how jm has finally realized that jn is very genuine and would actually kill for jm. The extent of jn's care for jm knows no bounds and I'm happy that jm is starting to allow that kind of affection cos he deserves it! I'm looking forward to jm letting jn in his life for real FOR REAL. Letting jn see all of his sides slowly 🥹 I hope we get to see jm being there for jn too in some way. Hehe. Love love love the update!

JUST READ CHAPTER 9 of AFTERLIFE. I have to say, your writing has REALLY REALLY blossomed over the years and it’s been a privilege to witness. I think afterlife has the best pacing, character growth, and plot development of any fic you’ve ever put out for nomin.

I can imagine jn jm trying harder to go around how to have a kid in afterlife. Haha. The doemestic chaosespecially since they both have stronger personalities in this version so them trying their best to be gentler and be the best parents will be so fun to see 🤣
