MODERN HAIKAVEH omg kaveh would still be an architecture student at college because i think i can never take that away from him lol & haitham would be linguistics,,, but he'd randomly look into other lectures if hes interested enough in them (so including the math/physics ones which kaveh probably also has to take lmao) and i feel like hed only show up to the classes he finds compelling 😭 but once he does show up to the classes if he disagrees w the professor he'd argue lol. whereas kaveh is like model student perfect attendance perfect assignments ambitious & overworked etc lmao. in a sense this is kind of the same as how i hc them in the genshinverse akademiya anyway. then for jobs i think kaveh would be an architect, aiming for the top architectural firms & dreaming to create buildings that last through time,,,, whereas haitham would probably just find a regular job that isnt too taxing ? like a 9-5 desk job or smth. which gives him ample time to pursue his own interests/reading outside of job time, hes the type who never works overtime always leaves at 5pm sharp (and probably does his own shit on company time if hes finished his work ngl) . alternatively i can also see him as a librarian or bookshop owner i think thats cute.
