What are your thoughts on asexual Lyney? I always see him depicted as a... Whore, pass me the term, sleeping around and using his body as a means to an end, I personally headcanon him as not interested in sex, if he engages in it it's with someone he has feelings for (hehe Wriothesley I'm looking at you)
He's a big flirt and imo he 100% uses flirtation to his advantage, but I don't think he'd go further than that.
He wants to be in control of his own body and that means choosing when and if giving himself to somebody, a choice that was taken from him when he and his sister got trafficked
Only Lynette, who was in it with him, and Arlecchino, who saved them, know about this, and I think it would be a very intimate moment when he decides to share his past with Wriothesley once their relationship grows stronger and solid

i see your vision, anon, and I've definitely thought about it!! (partly because I'm ace myself and love projecting onto my faves lol)
i do want to say that his promiscuous act and his asexuality aren't mutually exclusive. he can still be flirty and get intimate with people (and even enjoy doing so!) without sexual attraction being present. but i agree with you that he wants to be in control of his own body and is picky about what he does with who. lyney's story has a lot of room for interpretations with an asexual (and possibly sexually traumatised) lense, and i see you've already got a clear image in your head!! thank you for sharing your thoughts, i love hearing about uh, for lack of a better term, unpopular interpretations of lyney's character 💞 i can totally see your reasoning!
in my mind i carry several versions of lyney existing next to each other like a range of parallel universes that i can choose from at will, and one of those is asexual lyney who uses sex as a means to an end/sometimes to just have fun but he doesn't particularly care for it, and it's with someone he deeply cares about (cough, wrio) that he finds out how enjoyable and intimate and emotional sex can be :') but even that scenario is prone to change depending on what I'm feeling, i could also see him as flirty but ultimately sex-averse and panicking when his flirting leads to people toeing his boundaries. all versions of lyney are good and fun!
