KYA its cavernous wailing for sure… have you seen their illusts theyre literally so similar it makes me want to scream. short version blood and tears! red and blue! floating ribbons! binding each other! warning delusional rambling incoming but thematically speaking, new ryo is pretty much about the incident to me (pre-lcb hence the long hair) from the painter and the lord’s povs (the name contempt, awe shows their different reactions and positions, this ego is a small hint theyre conflating ryoshu the ebusshi and yoshihide/lord of horikawa so i wouldnt be surprised if she enacts both roles as tormentor/tormented) with this in mind i think its interesting to confront her to a hong lu who is aware of her own circumstances ab the debt of tears and the eye but cannot act due to her passivity, longing and a it is what it is/its too late attitude (sloth attribute) with either no one willing to listen (see the toad’s description) or blaming her wailing on her usual character as jby (described as close to hysterical at times. just girl things). anyways long hair shu is always so daiyuesque and theeee little forehead peek here is disastrous because if you squint well it works almost perfectly. trust. plus she can hide her eyes behind the glasses (also linked to the incident, as an observer of the blaze… shes emotionally distancing herself while admiring the view) so hl can better hallucinate ldy in her tearful lament………………….. the hope of reuniting with her beloved but she is met with violence, which she thinks she deserves (if youve read hlm you know) while rs sees a defenseless object (the toad’s eye) and a broken person she can lure in and bleed out. sexually speaking well The Binding…… contempt special death with her hands up begging on her knees for forgiveness as she has visions of ldy/rs cursing her which feeds into her guilt, blood on her hands… as rs feels happy that a noble, and something as unique and valuable as the jade is crying out in pain. letting your imagination do the rest ^_^

man the ryoluverse has expanded a lot. obviously ive been thinking about yrdv, the event and banner are so huge... local detective appeases the beastie with kisses cigs and more people to kill. reaaaally need ryo covered in blood from a recent hit coming in the detective's private quarters like they should both get bent over the desk as a treat. beams the mental image directly in ur mind

well also ever since oomf mentioned dieci bloodfiend 6 and chef 4 ive been rotating them massively, i love the idea of 6 suppressing her needs to avoid suspicion/going on a rampage and 4 enabling her desires by feeding 6 directly + 4 would be very interested in tasting a non-human entity tbh
