heyo! I notice all your examples used are underage characters (except lio) which is chill, but does that mean you're aiming for this to be more of a shotacon style zine? I personally picture twinks as like in their 20s, is this still welcome?
Hi! There is no real set definition of what a twink is, but definitions usually include "young/youthful" as one of the prerequisites. The Wikipedia article on it says "usually (but not always) in his late teens to twenties," and another definition says "18-22." We compiled a list of criteria based on examining the many loose definitions to find one that fits our goal:
- A boy who is...
- Young or youthful in appearance
- Slim or slender
- Often flamboyant or theatrical
- Physically attractive, especially in a pretty, stereotypically "feminine" way
We are not specifically aiming for it to feature only underage characters, and older twinks are absolutely welcome! In fact, we would prefer a range of differently aged characters for a range of different readers.
If you have suggestions of older characters to include on our Carrd, we would be happy to add more examples.
